Planetside 2 closed beta will be starting this upcoming monday. Anyone else following the game? Any old PS1 veterans will get into the beta on monday. I know myself, Fatty and Kold played right off the bat in 2003, but I got a chunk of people to go back in vanilla wow days (2006) to play for a while...

Been in the beta for quite some time now...very limited content though so I only play it for an hour or so every patch. If anyone wants access just PM me and I can share for now. Fun game, will be good...not to mention the real life money auction house. $$$

No clue with Mech and Webin, but I doubt Kold will be playing. From my experiences in the beta I didn't really care for the feel of the game, so passing on this and just impatiently waiting on D3.

Why oh why do I only have enough bag space for basically 2 gun options, a protein bar, and 5 bullets. And that is with both bag space upgrades.

I just got an email saying I got accepted into the second stage of their alpha, which starts the 7th. Anyone else get anything like that? Appears to be legit to me.

I've only seen 1 hacker sofar. Was some guy running around knifing people at double movement speed or so. So it hasn't really been that bad. I'm up to level 35-36 I think. I've only played multi atm. Seems fun..but 18 player limit, and every mode but one has a cap on 12 is just...retardedly low. No dedicated servers either. I don't know why they butchered this one like that, but it is still fun.

It is good to know at least one person appreciates what I do!

I only watched the first minute...which just involved 40 seconds of him dancing like a fag in tight shorts, and then 20 seconds of him trying to kick some white guy in the balls. Pretty intense stuff, no wonder you guys love this.

I think planetside makes up a good chunk of my best online gaming memories/experiences. It makes me sad to realize that there are just no games coming out that will try to offer the same gaming experience. Everything is small scale, and just standard online FPS games.
