Re: Veronica Mars (I AM GAY)
I liked it too Webin! Before watching it I assumed it was a teenage girl show since the main character is a girl in high school, but it was immediately apparent that it was much too serious for that audience. I'm not sure who the target audience is, but if you like a mystery with great acting and wr...

House
Considering how many people are rabid House fans, I'm surprised this post didn't exist already! I'm in no way an expert on this series. I generally dislike doctor dramas, and I only watched a few episode.
Pros:
Hugh Laurie is amazing.
Cons:
Formulaic and fabricated.

Re: Investing question
Unless you want to follow the stock market really closely, I would invest in a mutual fund rather than an individual stock. I put my 401k contributions as well as any extra income in a Vanguard 2045 retirement fund: https://personal.vanguard.com/us/FundsSnapshot?FundId=0306&FundIntExt=INT Vangua...

Re: The Dresden Files - Jim Butcher
The tv show leaves out a couple major characters, and the plot is entirely different.

Re: The Dresden Files - Jim Butcher
Most people don't believe in magic and don't realize how much it affects their lives, but magic is actually more widespread than they realize. A lot of the murders/kidnappings/disappearances are actually due to supernatural causes, of which Dresden is an expert but a typical citizen is clueless.

The Dresden Files - Jim Butcher
The novels are fantasy books set in modern Chicago. I love Butcher's writing style. The books are written in first person from Dresden's point of view, and Dresden is a really fun character. Dresden is goofy, smart, misunderstood, dirt poor, and one of the most powerful wizards in North America. The...

Re: Fringe
I tried to watch this show, but their fake science irritated me too much. =[Aus wrote:One of my favorite things about the show is the seemingly scientific and logical explanation of paranormal events because they all had some semblance of semi-reasonable explanation.

Re: Sash of ancient power (please read)
If possible, I think we'd prefer if you do what we did: Transfer the mats over yourself with an alliance alt. Once you have the mats over, you just talk to Tluas so he can verify you're from KSP, and then you can mail him the mats and he'll mail you back the belt. Would that be acceptable? Does anyo...

Yea, since Daethknight crafted those tanking boots for us, our patterns are your patterns! I believe Tluas has the dps cloth belt pattern.
