At my job and at home we use panasonic brands. I have yet to have any issues with range... unless i walk out to the parkinglot to go to my car (i work for ups so its a decent walk). But yeah man as far as the brand panasonic is where i would go.

well good news, i was talking to a bud and he told me with the bfg 8800 gt, the driver that comes with it conflicts the updated driver for some reason. So i defragged, rebooted safe mode, removed the driver, installed the newest one, and now its working like a charm. Sorry to spam your boards.

On a side note, for some VERY weird reason, my nvidia monitor is showing me this: http://img140.imageshack.us/my.php?image=monitoruf2.png Shows all are red, which could be causing stress on my computer.
