It appears that Blizzard toned down on the frequency of epic drops after complaints about Azuregos drops being so superior to MC drops. Out of 9 kills, only 10 epics dropped from him.

I actually tend to think the Test server Azuregos drops were fine for a PvP server, given that it would actually be hard to take outdoor bosses down due to the ganking. Perhaps they should have made the loot tables slightly better for PvP servers, but then that's too complicated for Blizzard.

I think those stats are messed up, like Thotbott usually is.

I heard he drops 2 purples, 2 blues.
