New 1.0 speed cat in the badlands, apparently with comparable pursuit to King B. Name of Brokentooth.
His skin is standard mountain lion, he's not stealthed so track beasts brings him up easily. He spawns on a hill near Angor Fortress but seems to be a rare spawn. He only started spawning since the last pach, as far as can be discerned, so spawn time isn't known.
The catch: He's level 37.
But for some work...that's a damn fine cat.
For any interested Vis hunters
Picked him up @ 11:15 pm PST. If he's a standard 8 hour silver elite he should pop around 7:15 am PST tomorrow.
I can confirm 1.0 attack speed.
Pursuit speed seems faster than normal, but I think he may not be quite as fast as a Jaguar/Takk/King B.
Skin, as mentioned before, is that of a mountain lion. No distinguishing features.
Tamed at level 37, almost 38 now. I think he'll be tearing it up at 60, at least for a day or two, then he'll get nerfed.

No, they only gain exp from mobs that would give exp to the pet owner (assuming we could still level)Sebboh wrote:do pets level like they did in diablo ii, in that they have to fight mobs of a similar level in order to effectively gain exp?
So we have to kill level 48+ mobs. Elites tend to level the pets fastest.
