Re: Attention Lazy People
Due to Mardi Gras we don't have a Super Tuesday. How homo. But I understand.
The laughter penetrates my silence.
As drunken men find flaws in science.
Their words mostly noises.
Ghost with just voices.
Your words in my memory.
Like music to me.

Re: Attention Lazy People
Hey guys, fuck you all.
John McCain shits lightning bolts and woops ass.
I'm voting for McCain if he gets the nomination, but if he doesn't I'll go democrat with Obama. Honestly I refuse to vote for other candidates, so heres hoping one of them gets the nod in their respective parties. I'll just have to write someone in or something because I'm not going to let my vote be part of the problem and give it to Hilary or something like that.

Re: Attention Lazy People
oh yes, open question.
To those of you who live in Massachusetts-- what do you guys think of Mit Romney?

Re: Attention Lazy People
Yeah Mike, I saw that also. She apparently raised 3mill after Super Tuesday, but Obama has already publically said he is on pace for another $30million this month (February).
Kali, Louisiana votes this Saturday I believe, so vote for Obama then!
Rensy - Romney just dropped out of the race not 1 hour ago, so expect McCain to have the Republican nomination. Mathematically, no one can beat him moving forward. I suspect we won't know his democratic opponent until at earliest April or May.

To clarify: He's another empty shirt. He's what GWB would be if GWB resembled a robot instead of a chimpanzee.
Also, I don't understand how anyone who wants the slightest change from the last 8 years could support John "Idsellmysoulforthenomination" Maverick© McCain.
Re: Attention Lazy People
From Romney's speech when announcing that he was dropping out:
"If I fight on in my campaign, all the way to the convention, I would forestall the launch of a national campaign and make it more likely that Senator Clinton or Obama would win. And in this time of war, I simply cannot let my campaign, be a part of aiding a surrender to terror."
Classy.

Re: Attention Lazy People
Yeah Amerle, get used to that talk from McCain. Expect to hear a lot of his buzzwords for democrats: Surrender & retreat. Its so obvious to see thats the only issue they think they have an edge on.
And I could not agree more with your point about McCain. The Maverick himself, one of the strongest proponents of Fiscal Responsibility, is advocating continuing the surge and war in Iraq until "Victory". Yet by continuing our presence there we as a country drive ourselves deeper and deeper into debt. The public figures of the war having cost around $1.5-2 trillion thusfar are vastly understated. Those figures do not count the growing number of machinery/equipment that we have to replace upon leaving (National Guard equipment we took to Iraq, Humvees, etc) and the increasing amount of Veteran's health benefits that will be required for years and years to come (longer war, more injuries, etc), which could add up to billions/trillions more.
The great irony is that McCain's cannot achieve fiscal responsibility (balance budget?) with any plan that keeps our country in Iraq, as much as I might agree with him that leaving sucks. There is no possible way I could ever see the US getting anything substantive done in terms of domestic issues (education, health care, global warming investment, funding social security) without piling on tons more debt to fund it. Who do you think is going to pay for all that?
Sorry for the lengthy post, this stuff gets me all hot and bothered.
