I'm a Paladin heal spec in my guild and I was wondering how are your ret paladins standing in a raid, do they dps well enough or is it kind of useless to have a ret paladin?

We wouldn't bring a ret paladin if we didn't feel that it strengthened the raid overall.

Yes, having a Ret Paladin is completely useless, that is why VM brings one to their raids.
