Retri paladin in Sunwell?

Post by Dahlain »

So, I heard you guys used retri paladin atleast in few bosses of Sunwell.

If that is correct, could you tell me why you found him/her useful enough to be picked in the raid for new bosses (?) .

This question has been answered so many times. They're good for the same reasons they're good in BT and TK and SSC.

Could you possibly give me some link which would include a list of those facts, so that I would manage to convince my guild that retri is viable enough?

Wow your request is overwhelming lazy. You couldn't look that shit up yourself?

I disagree. Precise results turned out to be really hard to find if you have no idea were to look.

But apparently I asked from the wrong place.

What do you want us to do? The math for you? Honestly, we looked at what a ret paladin brings to the raid in terms of personal dps, compared that to the personal dps of the class he'd be replacing. Then we looked at what he brings in terms of utility and other people's dps and calculated what that would be based on our typical raid group. We added personal dps + utiltiy dps for each class, compared and determined that it benefited our raid.

You need to do the same thing for your own raid since I'm sure you don't run the same comp as us and we're sure as hell not going to do the math for you.

Also, if you're trying to convince your guild that Retri is viable enough so that you can spec Ret and you can't do that on your own then you probably aren't the right paladin to be speccing ret for your guild. In my experience the worthwhile ret paladins have never had trouble telling others why they're worth it.

Would probably be the best place to start looking for facts to hold up having a retribution paladin.
