Howto: VM EQEmulator Server

In order to try it, you need full EQ Titanium:

Our server is public, and called Quellious 2008 EQ Server (for now). Not that it may not be up due to server issues this week, but should be stable very soon.

In order to create a login, you have to sign up for the forums and that's it?

Step 5 - Creating your Login Server Account

Go to The Forums and register.

Next, go to the USER CP - Login Server Accounts (Or Click Here) page.
Make a new login server account on that page.

You should be all set.

That second step, I believe, just takes your forum account and classifies it as a login account.

Quellious Reborn is not us, we have no idea who it is or what rules are on that server. We are Quellious 2008. If the name changes we will let ya know! Also, be careful with the quick connect button in EQ, it really sucks and messes up alot.

I think if you click on Quick Connect and the last server you connected to is down, it will just connect you to the next server in the list.


As for our server, I'm guessing it just needs to be started up.

Also, for those of you who havent played in over 5 years...
1. Go to http://www.mapfiend.net/mappacks. DL all maps and unzip all the maps into your maps folder in EQ (replace em all when prompted). It contains maps of dungeons too which is nice.

2. Some possible places to go level if you totally forgot
Lvl 1-20 = crushbone
15-30 = unrest
30-50 = Tower of Frozen Shadows
40-55 = Vex Thal
50-65 = PoE

What's really exciting is that of your leveling suggestions, I only know Crushbone and Unrest. I spent between 30 and 45 minutes just trying to figure out what the hell I was doing. Nothing playing a game you haven't touched in over 6 years and trying to use WoW commands.

Anyway, hey guys, what's up? I'm leveling up Tirne as a gnome wizard, seriously missing the old char models, I can't find find my cool mad face. Also boxing a monk with him, and we're owning lower level content.

20-40 Unrest
40-50 Lower Guk, Sol B
51+ Combination of Velketor's, Sebilis, Kael
