Computer issues.

Post by denellum »

Alright so maybe you kids will know the issue. I just recently build a new computer specs are as followed:

Intel core 2 duo E8400 3ghz Processor
Nforce 780i sli Motherboard
2Gig OCZ Palt. Ram
8800 GT OC
650 watt PS

Well the issue is that at any random time, i have a quick jolt, like a hiccup so to say. I mean nothing big, but just something that I don't want to get any worse. Nor do I think should be happening with this computer. I was reading up on it, some forums just say the Nforce MB's are very "strict" so to say on ram. As in OCZ is not a goos choice. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks =)

On a side note, for some VERY weird reason, my nvidia monitor is showing me this:

Shows all are red, which could be causing stress on my computer. So i don't know looks to me like it could either be a Powersupply issue, or a ram and power supply issue.

well good news, i was talking to a bud and he told me with the bfg 8800 gt, the driver that comes with it conflicts the updated driver for some reason. So i defragged, rebooted safe mode, removed the driver, installed the newest one, and now its working like a charm. Sorry to spam your boards.
