Firb/Xochi

Post by FallingCycle »

wondering what the best spec for dps is at 80. i raided as elemental at 70 and managed to barely get into BT after the nurfs so im no exactly an end game pro. but with the last expac i also start a year after it was out, this time im starting with everyone else. i plan to get to end game ( before the next expac :P) and am curios which way to go, enhance or elem. i enjoy both specs, just want to be able to put out the most DPS possible.

thank you for your time

Our enchancement shammy is normally always dead, so I would go elemental if I were you.

Why are you so bad at spelling.

IMO enhancement is better than elemental.

Champ this would be like me critiquing Wurdy for sleeping through the other nights raid.

It really comes down to preference right now. Would you enjoy a caster or a melee more? Enhancement currently has a slight edge on single target dps, with elemental having more aoe and raid utility (more raid dps with Totem of Wrath..enhance brings no real utility in a 25man). They also plan on buffing elementals single target and aoe damage in the near future, so we may pass up enhancement. If you are looking for pure personal dps though, currently enhancement is the way to go.
