Last time i made the pro tour was during Ice Age block. Shortly after i was sucked into MMOs.

I kept up occasionally and would usually catch a ride up to states with some random deck i threw together the night before and do pretty well. But been investing quite a bit of time/money into the online version.

They do a fair bit of Sealed and Draft in cardboard-magic lately, don't even need to bother with the "throw the deck together" step for a good deal of them. I went to Grand Prix Melbourne about a month ago, which was a sealed event. Went 4/4, which I thought wasn't too shabby considering I haven't been back in it for too long yet.

The Online version is dollar for dollar just like cardboard. You can even redeem digital sets for paper sets.

Yeah, I play it casually a little; part of Magic for me is the social interaction, so just playing randoms from my computer doesn't keep me interested long. There's a lot else I'd rather play when I'm in front of a PC.
