Re: Avatar
fucking. awesome.
didn't end up seeing it in imax, gg friend dropping the ball on getting tix...so saw it in 3d instead. definitely worth the money. it keeps you interested the whole time. when it was over, i couldn't believe i was in there for 2 hrs 40 min.
some of the plot elements aren't groundbreaking, and you'll see some things coming, but the point is they manage to keep a very good fantasy vibe going the whole time, despite it being more of a "sci-fi" movie. the effects and scenery are amazing. i'm curious to see it in a normal theater, to find out how much seeing it in 3d added to it.
bottom line: worth it for the visual experience alone, and the movie is solid too.

That term has been around for a long time. Unless they're actually using it as a proper scientific name for a material, in which case JAMES CAMERON MADE THE ABYSS TOO FAGGOTS.Mirkendargen wrote:"Unobtainium" lol.

Saw it this weekend in 3D... I'm still processing. Definitely one of my new favorites of all time.

Re: Avatar
Worth $12 in theatres or wait for the DVD?
Re: Avatar
Absolutely needs to be seen in 3D in the theater. I've seen it twice so far.
