Loot!
Loot!
Let's face it, everyone is interested in loot. Some people take this to an extreme, but everyone enjoys getting that drop that they have been wanting.
My question is, how does VM handle their looting during their raids? Do you guys use a DKP system, or does the leader simply decide who is the most needing/deserving?
I just wanted to ask because I wasn't able to find it on the forums that I can view as a non-member, and it always helps to know what works. I'm assuming that whatever system you are using works, because I have not ever read/heard anything that would indicate otherwise :)
Thanks for the info!

It's actually an elaborate system which includes a series of steps one must take in order to come to a definate decision. The most important step in the consideration process is If the said individual is named Biffins or not. If he is, proceed to step 2, if not wait for the next drop. Step 2 consists of determining if said drop can be worn by a Paladin or not, if yes, proceed to step 3, if not, proceed to step 3.1. Step 3 includes Biffins ninjalooting anything he can wear, storing as many purples as he can in his bank and on his person. Step 3.1 includes Geeman, Tanja, or whoever is fastest on the draw to run up to the boss and disenchant all the items Biffins can't wear, even then they need to be quick!
If this system doesn't make sense try reading it again. Like i said, it is a long drawn out process which has many variables to consider. Hope this answers your question.
Milu, Ten Four, Over and Out.

When Biffins doesn't ninja loot purples, we do officer decided loot. Officers take tells and we (the officers) consider each person's playtime, upgrade, recent loot awards, attitude, and anything else. We more or less vote on it, and see if everyone agrees. This system usually works...we pretty much never have conflicts over loot.

What do you guys know about Piranah Brothers? Good guild? Bad guild? Any experince with them?
Just wondering.
Thanks but...
Care to be slightly more specific? I know that none of the guilds measure up to the mighty VM, but I would like to find a nice guild to be in until one of your priests quits/dies/gets his fingers broken.
:)
:)
Eeek....
Well, thank you for the heads up :)
1) For the record, I am not in PB. I think it's important to state this because I have an app up right now.
2) I do run MC with them, but I think I might have to look around a little bit for another guild to run with after reading those posts. (Suggestions for guilds to run MC with are welcome)
Thanks for the info (again)!

Pretty much what was stated before; this is from the application instructions last updated 7/26
Loot - Loot is decided by the Guild Master (Kold) and several officers in officer chat. We take tells from members who want the item and assign them based on several factors. These include attendance, recent items awarded, size of upgrade, class, contributions to guild, and overall benefit to guild. New items are fun, and improve your character and guild as a whole, but loot alone should not be your reason for joining. We raid for the fun, for the challenge, and to help each other out.
