blocked how? it's just an image hosting on the same domain. Does it not let you upload one or what?

i dont see avatars

i saw bleedos at home, i dont see it here.. hence.. it is firewalled out somehow

same goes for other message boards i read.. avatars dont show up at work but do at home.. this one always worked at both but no longer does

Hmm odd, are you having trouble seeing any other images or is it just avatars?

They probably don't work then due to the way the new version of the forums handles them. In the past the filename and URL to your avatar was stored in the database with your other user information, and was linked to directly; Now the forum passes your user ID to a global download script which then determines where you're from, if you have permission to view it, and other security and permission related things... so it's a lot better now, but since the download script is called "download.php", that is probably blocked by a lot of corporate firewalls for obvious reasons. Not much we can do about it that would be quick and easy I'm afraid. :-(

we need to get the little offline / online buttons changed to something that looks better, is smaller, and maybe appears at the bottom of your avatar box instead of the top.

Agreed. How would you prefer the indicator be? Maybe we can just put like:

Milu [Offline]

as your name if you're offline, and:

Milu [Online]

if you're online?
