Blazefury Medallion worthless for rogues?

Apparently the damage add breaks gouge. I swear: the itemization folks in Blizzard are morons:

"Not sure if he's a rogue or not.. but I myself got that medallion.. Only use it for instances. the 2 fire damage breaks gouge and makes it usless for PvP/Duals and so much more.. so frustrating. I put in a Item Ticket just to have bliz know that his nice rogue (and yeah other class's) amulet breaks one of our skills."

warrior/ pally neck
sure str or intel would help them out, but what neck has 14 stam and 12 fire resist.

could be a rogue neck if ur spamming SS and blade fury

Heya Joon. Nice to see you doing well on BC.

The medalion is good.. but only if your doing MC or such.. Dualing/PvP it just is no good. But since i dual/PvP alot.. i get to only actually wear it some of the time. (sits in the bank with my MC/Ony Gear) It's just a shame that it's a conditional Epic item.

I actually don't see the item being spectacular for any classes really. The damage add would be useless for warriors unless you dual wield; and the other stats are either inferior to Emberfury Talisman or only marginally better (ok, the 14 stam is 6 more than Emberfury, but that's still just 60 HPs for us).

Hi, Nias. Yes, the grass is indeed greener on the other side of the fence! :)

Yes, for an epic drop off someone that is theoretically very hard to kill on a PvP server, the item is a bit disappointing. But this is true of many epic items in WoW, and one can only hope that future high end itemization will resemble Dire Maul and Maraudon more than Scholomance (which will apparently have a facelift--loot table-wise).

Word from Tigole is they're adding 29 items to Scholo, which will mean it's even hard to get the one Gandling drop you wanted -_-...
