Saw this over the weekend, I was extremely impressed. Being a fan of historically based movies this caught my interest immediately, but truthfully I was very surprised with just how much I enjoyed it. I found the movie to be extremely intense and exciting from literally the very first minute up until the end. The acting was quality and it was very historically accurate, definitely recommend.

You just described Tom Cruise's acting as quality? The fact that he didn't even try to do a German accent annoys me. I heard somethings about it that weren't exactly accurate to history but I haven't seen the movie and don't plan to in theaters. (edited for possible spoilers)
Another WWII era movie coming out has Daniel Craig and by just seeing the previews his acting makes Tom Cruise's look terrible.

My parents took me to see this with my brother, and we all liked it.
Pros: exciting, suspenseful, mostly historically accurate
Cons: the German accents existing on a random selection of the German characters left me feeling like the dialogue was patched together, middle of the movie was confusing because it introduced and killed off too many characters too quickly

I've actually heard the opposite, people I've spoken to have said they didnt like it.
Regardless, supporting Tom Cruise is indirectly supporting Scientology, SO STEAL THE MOVIE ON THE INTERWEBZ OR DONT SEE IT AIGHT. No seriously...he's a douchebag, don't give him money.

I'd have to live off the land as a hermit if I boycotted products and services that indirectly support religions I don't believe in.

It actually seems like I'm in the minority in regards to this film, most of the reviews I've read were negative which really surprised me. Maybe I shouldn't recommend it to people since most don't seem to like it, but I really did!

Aus, contrary to popular belief you are not the be all, end all Jesus of everything(just most things.) I believe we are all capable of realizing that your opinion is just that, an opinion. <3 That being said people may feel they have something in common with, or a connection with you and value the take you have to offer on various things. I mean after all, you are the Jesus of most things.

That was my overall message. So even if your opinion contradicts the average, it's still a gift we should treasure.
