This movie is...hard to describe. Amazing might be too much, but the movie is certainly a bold statement, however you analyze it. It is extremely graphic, and hard to stomach. The rape scene, the murder scene. The human capcity for brutality is captured without being glorified. About two years ago I went through a huge foreign movie binge with some friends, and we saw High Tension and then this the next day. Definitely worth it if you can take it.

That screen capture is pretty epic.

And it's 'whet your appetite' you mongoloid. Unless 'wet' is an I see what you did there moment. Because I am undoubtedly wet right now.

Irreversible was definitely fucked up. Worth a watch. I didn't like High Tension very much, iirc. The ending felt meh to me.
